Winter in the Studio: slower, quieter, warmer
Olivera KlikovacWinter always brings a different rhythm into my studio.

The days are shorter, the light is softer, and my worktable slowly fills with pieces shaped throughout November — new forms, small experiments, and pieces waiting for a second chance.

Each year, I prepare a small December selection:
• pieces with tiny imperfections that deserve a loving home
• and brand-new pieces created during long, focused studio days.
This winter, I decided to move a little slower and quieter.
No rush, no noise, no pressure.

I’m enjoying this gentler pace — letting porcelain dry in the cold air, adding gold in third firings, and that quiet moment of lifting a finished piece from the kiln and seeing everything come together.
I want December to feel soft, for me and for everyone who follows my work.
That’s why I created a small December Studio Circle this year — a space for those who want early access to the upcoming pieces, without disappearing stories or rushed messages.
All pieces from the December selection will appear there first. If you’d like to join, you can leave your email on a dedicated page on my website.
There is no hurry — just a calmer, warmer way to share my work with you and a small thank-you for your support throughout the year.

Thank you for being here.
I’ll be at my worktable, under a quiet light, while a new batch of porcelain slowly cools on the shelf.
